About Me

Welcome to Mom’s Travelogue.

This is a blog started by a mom who accidentally fell into the world of travel. I don’t fit neatly into a box when it comes to traveling so be prepared to read about mediocre places to stay and play to luxurious destinations that you’ll never be able to afford.

I married the complete opposite of me - other than the fact that he likes to travel too. (Lucky for him).

I sat in a desk for 10 years and couldn't help but get a little antsy every month. Which I've since learned is called "the travel itch".
So I popped a couple kids out, smacked them on the ass with a travel brochure, and now they’re roadtrippers too.

I cuss. A lot. You’ve been warned.  But I keep it classy, y’all.  I promise.

I’ll be a work in progress here for a while until I finish going through my other blog to bring the travel-related posts over here and get everything organized.

This blog is a culmination of my adventures in life, food and travel.  In other words …. It’s a detailed storybook of all of my favorites things.  I long, never-ending, cuss-filled storybook of everything I love.

Just because this site has the word "mom" in the title ... doesn't mean it's only for the mama's.  I am all for pawning the kids off at grandma's for a solo trip to regain your soul or to have a weekend getaway with your honey.

But as I like to say:  "The family that travels together ... stays together."

There is no doubt that I am addicted to travel. And I have no intention on ever getting help for my addiction. The more I see and do with my family, the more I want to see what else is out there. Life is about having an adventure wherever you are. So follow me … as I help you decide where to go to next.
